Have you heard of Business Community Management?

Many haven’t. Simon Holloway, is a Practice Leader – Process Management & RFID, but this is the first he had heard of it, as he tells us in his article Business Community Management – the Inovis way.
But if you are not familiar with this term and you are in the Supply Chain then perhaps you should take a look.
Every day Retailers are having to deal with their Suppliers and Customers, trying to onboard them and constantly increasing the quantity and quality of information flowing between.
In his blog Community Management and Onboarding, Jay Melton suggests that “midsize retailers may have 4-5 staff members for over 2000 partners, giving each staff member 400-500 partners to manage.”
This is a huge tap on resources, especially in today’s environment where everyone is trying to save on costs, so why not look around and see who is out there to help you manage your Business Community?
