It was interesting to see this week, in the SystemiNetwork news letter that Movex is still alive and kicking. The popular Movex ERP application is from Swedish firm Intentia, but is now known as M3 owned by the ERP giant Lawson Software.
The article mentions “that well over 80% of M3 users are running on the i.”
Movex has been integrated with the EDI translator TrustedLink iSeries (TLI) on many customer sites, and it would be interesting to know if there was anyone out there integrating this with M3? Would be great to hear from you.

Over in the US we have blogged about it, but have you heard the news?
We here at Inovis are pleased to announce that we have been cited as a “Leader” in the B2B Service Providers category in the most recent edition of “The Forrester Wave™.”
Even the Wall Street Journal has written an article which covers the Forrester Wave report and references Inovis. The article, which can be found here, results from a more in depth look at the report on Global Trade Best Practices which offers insight to small and mid-size businesses on how to leverage themselves into the global supply chain:
The report’s criteria focused on vendor capabilities in networking services, communication services, community management customer support, disaster recovery, delivery alternatives, managed services, hosted support for application integration, process integration and the availability of integrated managed file transfer (MFT).
Inovis scored well in the report. We’re in the leader’s quadrant, along with GXS and Sterling, and ranked #1 in Current Offering (vertical axis).
Here’s the short story:
- Inovis is positioned in the Leader quadrant.
- Inovis ranked #1 in Current Offering.
- 12 vendors profiled, out of 50 worldwide.
- Report based on 150 end-user inquiries, 85 criteria and 24 reference interviews.
- Detailed spreadsheet available for each vendor.
For more information on Forrester Wave’s selection of Inovis as a leader in the B2B Service Providers category, you may view the press release here.
